On the occasion of our Golden Jubilee, CEL was conferred the Mini Ratna (Category-I) status by the Government of India — a recognition that reflects our strategic transformation, financial strength, and growing national importance. From being shortlisted for disinvestment to becoming a profitable, self-sustaining public sector enterprise, CEL’s journey has been one of resilience and renewal. In FY 2024–25, we achieved a turnover of ₹390 crore and recorded a 27% rise in profits, underlining our commitment to performance-driven growth. With a strong footprint in defence electronics, railway signaling, integrated surveillance systems, and solar technologies, CEL continues to align itself with national missions like Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Digital India. Our indigenously developed technologies — such as the Broken Rail Detection System and Smart Water Monitoring Solutions — are empowering critical infrastructure and public services across the country. As we move forward, CEL remains committed to technological innovation, operational excellence, and nation-building.
